How to Volunteer

1. Complete the forms
Complete the registration form for all general volunteers!
2. Start Volunteering!
After you’re officially registered and approved as a volunteer, your team director will assign you roles and tasks to fulfill. Your volunteer hours will be officially tracked, and when you request a letter of official service, we will provide you with one stating your full name, date achieved, and the number of hours.
Events Committee
In team events, you’ll be working with other passionate people for the cause of pediatric cancer patients. Currently, some events we have in mind for the future months include outreach concerts(applicable to those who are involved in music), card-making, and more! Also, note service hours will be awarded for the volunteer work you do.

Fundraising Committee
In team fundraising, you’ll be working with others on fundraising for CKF NYC. You will need to contact and attend meetings with your director in order to facilitate the smoothness of fundraising. Some fundraising ideas that we have in the future, but are not set in place, are flower fundraisers, penny drives, and animal playdates.

Outreach Committee
In team outreach, you’ll be working with others in order to outreach and expand CKF NYC’s connections with hospitals and organizations. Through emailing, and meetings with your director, putting flyers around your neighborhood, and more, you’ll be working to spread the reach of CKF to more and more patients in your community.

Finance Committee
In team finance, you’ll be working with others on finance for CKF NYC. You will need to contact and attend meetings with your director in order to facilitate clear cut budget plans and coordinate well with the events committee.
