What We Do

Since 2019, Cancer Kids First has led the effort to alleviate the situations regarding pediatric cancer patients. Over 54,000 gifts have been sent to over 7500 patients in 63 countries with the help of 28,000 volunteers. Volunteer or partner today to join the fight with pediatric cancer patients.

Our Mission Statement

As the sole chapter of Cancer Kids First covering the entire New York City area, we aim to reach to as many pediatric cancer patients as we can. Currently, our areas of interest are mostly in Staten Island and Queens. We aim to alleviate the situation of as many pediatric cancer patients through events like outreach concerts, flower fundraisers, card writing, outreach days, and more to come, we hope to bring unfortunate youth one step closer to a normal life.

Currently, all volunteers are welcome to join us on this journey, whether it be from putting up flyers around the neighborhood to attract enthusiastic youth to bonding with a patient over weeks and months!

Our Gift a Miracle program

We also currently have a gift-a-miracle program, where you can buy miracle packages for your loved patient or other patients! These miracles can make a patient’s day and make them feel loved. You can find out more about the program by clicking below!

Our Impact in New York City

  • Raised $300 in our Flower Fundraiser

  • Donated care packages, toys, and cards to hospitals

  • Worked with volunteers in slime making, origami, and painting events
